Library planning teen programs

The Jackson County Public Library offers free programming for teens in grades 6 through 12 in the Teen Scene at the Seymour and Crothersville libraries.

Registration is required for some programs, and space is limited. Sign up at myjclibrary.org/events.

Seymour programs include:

  • Dorm Room Cuisine: 5 p.m. today, dessert, Frank’s Crispies (limit 10); 5 p.m. April 9, snack, Apple Cookies (limit 10)
  • STEM Challenge: 5 p.m. April 3 (limit 20)
  • Art Club: 5 p.m. Tuesday and April 10 (limit 20)
  • Teen Advisory Group: 5 p.m. April 4 and May 2
  • “The Outsiders” movie: 1 p.m. Saturday
  • “Everything, Everything” movie: 1 p.m. April 14

Crothersville programs include:

  • Sphero SPRK: 4:30 p.m. March 28 (limit 15)
  • Wacky Art: 4:30 p.m. April 25 (limit 15)
