The Sauers 4-H Club met Jan. 8 at St. John’s Lutheran School-Sauers.

President Kenny Hessong called the meeting to order. The pledges were led by Ethan Wischmeier and Cameron Connell.

Nolan Teipen gave the devotion, and Vice President Anna Benter led roll call.

Secretary Amelia Hessong read the minutes from the previous meeting, and Kate Connell gave the treasurer report.

A song was led by Maggie Connell and Ashley Schroer.

The health and safety report was given by Brooklyn Bottorff and Brady Sawyer about “How to Stay Healthy During Flu Season.”

A demonstration was shown by Carly Baker about showing her dog at the fair, and recreation was led by Trenton Burton and Brocker Bottorff.

Refreshments were provided by Baker, Sawyer and Liza and Lana Vaughn.

The next meeting will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Feb. 12 at St. John’s Lutheran School-Sauers.
