Teddy Carter, 75, of Moores Hill, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017. He was born March 13, 1942 in West Virginia, son of the late Raymond and Alley (Black) Carter.

Teddy was a huge country music fan, especially George Jones. He loved being with his family. He worked as a Truck Driver.

He is survived by his 3 daughters, Donna (Dave) Carter McCoy of Vallonia, IN, Mindy Carter Acton of Louisville, KY, Cindy (Kevin) Carter Hicks of Valparaiso, IN; 5 brothers, Maynard (Maudie) Carter, Millard Carter, Harold (Maxine) Carter, Bobby Carter, Larry Carter; 9 sisters, Naoma Mason, Norma Jean (Delbert) Barrett, Lois Heitfeld, Ruth (Steve) Shouras, Carol (Charles) Roskuski, Joann (Charles) Grant, Vicki Schwartzkopf, Wanda (Steve) McGlone, Louise (Bill) Gutzweiller; 7 grandchildren, Jeremy (Liz) Acton, Helen Bunting, Xavier Hicks, Madeleine Hicks, Avery Hicks, Carson Hicks; and one great-grandchild, Mia Acton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Alley Carter; one brother, Ronnie; 2 nephews, Mike and Gary; niece, Tammy; 3 brothers-in-law, Bob, Russ, Glenn; and his grandson, Carter.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
