The Loyal Devoir Society of Central Christian Church in Seymour conducted its Christmas dinner Dec. 5 at The Pines with 43 members and guests attending.

Lyndie Richey and Linda Rumph with their committees planned the event.

Richey gave devotions quoting John 3:16 and reading a story, “If I Were a Goose.”

The entertainment was provided by Will Smith and Ron Patton. They played Christmas carols on their violins.

Gifts were distributed to the past officers by President Paula Stafford.

Stafford announced the new officers for 2018. They are Stafford, president; Wanda Gray, vice president; Judy McDonald, secretary; and Betty Guinn, treasurer.

The meeting closed with the Mizpah Benediction.
