Mrs. Anita Kay Brandt, 56 of Seymour passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at I.U. Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis.

Anita was born March 19, 1961 in London, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Charles Barnard.

Anita was a member of the VFW and Eagles Club ladies auxiliary, both of Seymour. She formerly worked at Cummins Engine Company for 10 years.

She is survived by her daughters; Amy (Jon) Peters and Elizabeth (Justin) Modesty, grandchildren; Jailyn, Aidan, Gunner, Kamryn, Damon, and Layla, companion; Terry Wheeler, a very special aunt Kathryn “Kathy” Stidam, several brothers and 2 sisters; Lillie (Robert) Elliott and Irene (Robert) Trieschman.

Preceded in death by her father; Charles Barnard.

Family and friends may gather at Voss and Sons Funeral Service on Wednesday after 11:00 a.m. until time of Service. Funeral will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Brien Stout officiating.

Family request memorials are designated to the VFW ladies auxiliary.
