Applications for grants to address alcohol/drug abuse in Jackson County are now available through Jackson County Drug-Free Council Inc.

The applications are available online at drugfreecouncil.org to organizations and individuals providing services in the following categories — education, treatment and law enforcement.

Services must address one of the three problem statements listed on the application to work toward the goals of the council’s comprehensive community plan to reduce substance abuse in Jackson County.

The deadline to apply is April 11.
