Immanuel Lutheran Guild conducted March meeting

The Immanuel Lutheran Guild conducted a regular meeting March 7 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church fellowship hall in Seymour.

President Jackie Hill opened the meeting. The group sang Hymn 420 “Christ the Life of All the Living”.

Immanuel Lutheran School Principal Dr. Todd Behmlander spoke about the current status of the school, including enrollment, staff, fees and curriculum.

Sharon Toppe spoke about the May party. It was decided to be a pitch-in dinner at 6:30 p.m. May 2.

The budget was discussed, and donations were made to a variety of organizations.

Tables were decorated in a St. Patrick’s Day theme. Shamrocks, green hats and candies decorated the tables. White and green poke cake was served.

Lisa Lewis read the closing prayer for Linda Eggersman.

Brenda Darlage won the door prize, a crocheted doily made by Ruth Newkirk.

Hostesses for the evening were chairwoman Ester Becker, Sandy Kilgas and Newkirk.
