A weather spotter training class is set for 6:30 p.m. March 16 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 504 N. Walnut St., Seymour.

The SKYWARN class, sponsored by Jackson County Emergency Management Agency, is open to anyone interested in becoming trained as storm spotters.

Spotters work with local emergency management officials and send reports of weather-based phenomena.
