Astronomy to be focus
of first teens program
Just for Teens, a program
for students in Grades 9 through 12, will be at
4:30 p.m. Fridays in the
Teen Scene Room at the Seymour Library.
The first will be at 7 p.m. Jan. 12 and is called “Astronomy: Stars, Constellations and More,” with special guest Forrest Willey, a local astrophotographer. Participants will learn to identify parts of the night sky. Willey also will show examples of his work. The program also is open to Middle Matters, for sixth- through eighth-graders.
