Seymour Christian Academy raised more than $2,000 for computers, equipment and classroom supplies during a fundraiser Dec. 6 at a Seymour restaurant.

The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, helped the school by participating in a what is known as a Flapjack Fundraiser.

“Our team enjoyed working with the volunteers of Seymour Christian Academy to assist them in their fundraising efforts,” said Michael Olander, president and CEO of Apple Gold Group.

The fundraiser was at the Applebee’s restaurant at 1705 E. Tipton St. The group sold 350 tickets throughout the community. Breakfast included a short stack of pancakes, sausage and beverages.
