Norman Bassett, 80, of Seymour, died Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Rose Bassett of Seymour; a daughter, Susan (Joseph) Ginder of Long Beach, California; two sons, Robert (Deanna) Bassett of Lowell, and Herbert (Candice) Bassett of Grayson, Louisiana; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Norman was preceded in death by an infant son.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sandcreek-Azalia Friends Meeting in Elizabethtown with interment in Liberty Cemetery north of Shelbyville.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre, 311 Holiday Square Road, in Seymour, and from 9:30 a.m. to time of service of Monday.
