Five members of the Seymour City Extension Homemakers Club traveled to Clarksville on June 3 to attend the play “Social Security” at Derby Dinner Playhouse.

In April, four members attended Achievement Night at Cornerstone Community Church. Awards were given out to several clubs, and the new county officers were sworn in.

Janet Works entered her painting to be judged in the cultural arts. The painting was chosen the best entry and will be sent on to represent Jackson County at the state convention in June.

The next meeting will be at 7 p.m. July 1. Co-hostesses will be Marion Slade and Doris Keyser.
