Cherry Hill Aviation is sponsoring a public Aviation Day event from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Freeman Municipal Airport in Seymour.

There is no cost for admission or parking.

Lunch will be available for purchase from Red Star Pizza, which also is helping to sponsor Aviation Day

The event will include airplane rides for $20, information on flight training and advanced aviation education, a display of remote-controlled airplanes and several war birds and vintage aircraft will be flying in as it’s the final regional fly-in of the year.

The Freeman Army Airfield Museum also will be open for free tours. The museum is reorganized, updated and packed full of artifacts from the time Freeman Field was a World War II training base for pilots.
