The Arc of Jackson County is conducting a presentation on special needs trusts from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at The Point Family Life Center, 311 N. Myers St., Seymour.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will help families learn how they can provide for their child’s personal needs after they are gone without endangering eligibility for government programs. Information on how an individual with a disability can fund his or her own trust also will be provided.

Families, advocates and professionals will have the opportunity to learn more about The Arc Master Trust and other information on future planning.
