Zachary “Logan” Miller of Seymour recently was certified as a medicolegal death investigator by the Indiana State Coroners Training Board.

Miller, a 2013 graduate of Seymour High School, is a deputy coroner with the Tippecanoe County Coroners Office and a student at Purdue University studying criminal justice.

The certification process requires completion of a 40-plus-hour training course, an externship with a board certified forensic pathologist and a successful passage of the state certification exam.

Miller is the son of Scott and Jennifer Miller.
