Regina Christina “Chris” Osterman, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on August 08, 1942, to the late Heinz Bischoff and Theresa Bischoff. She met her late husband Dave Osterman while in Germany and they were married February 1, 1969, in Seymour.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Chris enjoyed BINGO, scratching lottery tickets and gardening. Most of all she loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving to cherish Chris’s memory is her son, Michael (Michelle) Rhoades; her grandsons, David (Kate), Jonathan (Sarah), and Zachary (Whitley); great grandchildren, Roselyn, Margaret, Evelyn, Joshus Coe, Linus, Lydia, Everett, and Zreya; and sister Margaret (Gustav) Hamburg.

Chris was preceded by her first husband, George Rhoades; her second husband David Osterman; and her parents, Heinz and Theresa Bischoff.

Friends may visit with Chris’s family on Saturday October 26, 2024, from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00am at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 605 S. Walnut Street, Seymour, Indiana 47274 with Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, Rev. Philip Bloch, Rev. James Rodreiguez and Rev. William Fredstrom officiating. Private inurnment will take place at Immanuel Lutheran Cemtery at a later time.
