City board of works to meet Thursday

The Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety is scheduled to meet at 11 a.m. Thursday in the George Green Council Chambers at city hall, 301 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

New items on the agenda include a special request for demolition/remodeling at 212 W 2nd St., a request by Spud Bank to operate in the Chestnut St. parking lot (the site of the Farmer’s Market) on Nov. 7, 14 and 21, and a request for a mobile food truck license by Jerry Hahn of Dirty Dough.

Other items on the agenda include the swearing in of Cody Trowbridge by Fire Chief Eric Roll, in addition to updates by City Engineer Bernie Hauersperger and WPC Director Jarin Gladstein.

Board meetings are open to the public and press.
