Ladonna Andrews, 93, passed from this life to her heavenly home on October 11, 2024. She was born October 9, 1931, in Sparksville, Indiana to the late Glenn and Effie (Cooley) Andrews.

In earlier years Ladonna and her mother enjoyed traveling to different places overseas and visited almost every state in the United States. Some of her favorite destinations were Shakertown and Gatlinburg. She was a beautician for many years. Known as a perfectionist, she was an avid seamstress, accomplished at everything from embroidery to quilting. She probably made over a hundred quilts including baby quilts for all the infants in the family. Ladonna was a member of Small Town Quilters and enjoyed the sewing retreats at Camp Lakeview. She attended the First Baptist Church of Seymour when she was able. Ladonna is survived by many friends and several cousins, and she will be missed by all who knew and dearly loved her.

Funeral services for Ladonna will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Voss and Sons Funeral Home, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour. Rev. Dr. Jeremy Myers of First Baptist Church will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Ladonna will be laid to rest immediately following at Riverview Cemetery.
