Cm Lucas Jr (Luke) 89 passed away at his home in California of natural causes on August 29, 2024.

Luke was born in Seymour, Indiana, on November 15, 1934. He attended Seymour high School and graduated in 1952. After high school, Luke spent four years in the Army. He trained as a sharp shooter and a paratrooper. Luke went to work at Cummins Diesel in Columbus, Indiana upon returning home from Army. Cummins transferred Luke to California in the 70s.

Luke had a real love for animals mostly Horses. He owned horses for most of his adult life, and for as long he was able to care for them.

Luke had five Children four boys and one girl. Jayne Munz, Jeff Lucas, Tim Turner, Mike Lucas, and Robert Lucas.

Luke enjoyed nine grandchildren.

Memorial Services are going to be held at 3 p.m. on the Sunday after Octoberfest, October 6th, at The Seymour American Legion down stairs.
