CROTHERSVILLE

Carolyene “Carol” (Davidson) Herald, of Crothersville, IN, passed away on her 82nd birthday, Friday, September 27, 2024 at Lake Point Village, in Scottsburg, IN.

Carol was born on September 27, 1942, in Hyden, KY. She was the daughter of Jarmon and Susie (Davidson) Davidson.

On August 13, 1960, Carol &Jim were married in Uniontown, IN. Jim passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022

Carol was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church, enjoyed snowbirding in Florida for several years in the past with Jim. Most of all, she was the most devoted and best Wife, Mom, and Nanny. She was a devoted housewife, loved to babysit and spending time with her family.

Survivors include 3 beloved children, Richard “Rick” (Donna) Herald of Austin, IN, Diana Lynn “Dee” (Monty) Densford of Crothersville, IN, and Michael “Mike” (Rosa) Herald of Crothersville, IN, 7 grandchildren, Brandy Densford, Natasha Spears, Courtney (Josh) Densford-Hodge, Chance (Tinisha) Densford, Joseph Herald, Kara Helton, and Nathan (Sabrina) Helton, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-granddaughter, and 1 brother, Virgil Davidson of Scottsburg, IN.

Carol was also preceded in death by her parents, death by 4 brothers, Cecil, Willie, Clayton, and Clyde Davidson, and 3 sisters, Lee Anna Shirley, Betty Brock and Opal Peacock.

Pastor Steve Herald, will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 3, 2024, at Adams Family Funeral Home &Crematory in Crothersville, IN, with burial to follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 10:00 AM until the service time on Thursday, all at Adams Family Funeral Home &Crematory in Crothersville.

Memorial donations may be given to Bethany Baptist Church or Crothersville Cemetery in memory of Carol c/o Adams Family Funeral Home &Crematory, 110 East Howard St., Crothersville, IN 47229.
