She was known as a hard worker, spunky and stubborn, and described by those who loved her as “small but mighty.” She loved to work in her yard and go to garage sales. When she could no longer play herself, she loved watching golf tournaments on TV, especially with her favorite pro golfer, Scottie Sheffler. Phyllis loved to eat long johns from Linzy B’s donut shop but was also famous for her homemade yeast rolls.
