Library offers free adult and teen programs in October

The Jackson County Public Library will hold free programs for adults in Seymour and for teens at all locations in October.

Seymour programs will be held upstairs in the former computer lab due to early voting in the library meeting room.

Adults ages 18 and older can attend or join the waitlist for True Crime Club at 5 p.m. Oct. 7, with registration required by Oct. 2 and limited to 20 attendees.

Adults also may attend or join the waitlist for a special Halloween diamond dotting craft program at 5 p.m. Oct. 10. Registration is required by Oct. 8 and limited to 20.

Adults can attend genealogy resources at 3 p.m. Oct. 26. No registration is required for this program by Kassidy Cobb of History of the Ages, sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Teens in grades 6 through 12 may register for Dungeons Dragons at 4 p.m. Oct. 22 in Seymour, with registration required by Oct. 18, and limited to 10.

Teens also may register for Pass the Page at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 24, at the Medora Library; or 4:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Crothersville Library; or 5 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Seymour Library. Registration is required by Oct. 22, Oct. 23 and Oct. 25 respectively and is limited to 10.
