The annual reunion of the family and descendants of William Akers and Rebecca Wineinger will be Oct. 6 at the Shields Park shelter house in Seymour.

Events include a pitch-in dinner at 1 p.m. featuring kielbasa stew and foods from the grill. Drinks and tableware will be provided.

A silent auction will be held at 2:30 p.m., a live auction at 3 p.m., bingo, cake walk, table and yard games, children’s activities and door prizes.
