The Seymour Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 7 p.m. Sept. 24 in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The agenda includes Ronald Gentry requesting a variance in the 2000 block of North County Road 950E to build a 22-foot-by-25-foot secondary structure on a lot with no primary structure.

Joe Wright is requesting a variance at 3677 N. County Road 975E to vary from the 10% side setback to be inches from the property line to build a “lean to.” The structure has already been built, and it was brought to the planning and zoning department’s attention that it was built on the property line.

Abel Salazar is requesting a variance at 739 Pershing St. to vary from the rear 20-foot setback to be just a few feet from the property line to build a covered structure over an existing concrete pad.

Donald Marcum is requesting a variance at 612 W. Fourth St. to vary from the 2o foot rear setback to be just a few feet off the property line. He will be tearing down an old garage and replacing it with a 22-foot-by-30-foot new garage.
