A Putting Your Garden to Bed program will be at 5 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Jackson County Public Library, 303 W. Second St., Seymour.

Richard Beckort with Purdue Extension Jackson County will teach attendees how to prepare their garden for the off-season, so it is in the best shape for spring planting. Registration for this free adult program is required by Sept. 12 at myjclibrary.org/events or by calling or visiting the library.
