The Loyal Devoir Society’s annual pitch-in picnic was held Aug. 27 at Central Christian Church in Seymour.

There were 13 members and several guests present.

Betsy McDonald and her committee of Janice Brock, Patty Elmore and Janet Clark were in charge of arrangements.

After the meal, president, Paul Stafford announced the rummage sale was a huge success. She also thanked everyone who helped.

The Delta Kappa Gamma dinner will take place at 6 p.m. Sept. 17. Members will be called to help with it.

Everyone is to bring two dozen cookies to the September meeting for Police Appreciation Day.

The next meeting will be Sept. 24 with Lucy Dembek and her committee in charge.
