In high school, George won and still holds the Illinois state record for the 100-yard dash. He excelled at baseball, football and track. He was truly a man of many talents, a trait that led him to employment in various fields. As a computer analyst he worked for Bank of America, Square D and Humana. He was also an entrepreneur, owning the company, Got IT, and a sales representative.

At Indiana State University, George was a member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He was also a member of Toastmaster’s and received a Speaker Award for the state of Arizona. His multitude of interests included fishing, motorcycling, darts, pool and tennis.

Most importantly, George loved people. His friends ran the gamut from devout Christians to non-believers, tradesmen, school teachers, doctors, and corporate officers; some of whom had opposing views. George respected and loved them all. He will best be remembered for his comical entertainment, being the unique man that he was, and his moves on the dance floor.
