The Friends of the Jackson County Public Library will hold its bi-monthly sale 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 7 in the Seymour Library meeting room.

Members-only sales are set for 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 6 and 10 to 10:30 a.m. Sept. 7.

Sale prices are adult hardbacks, softbound books, music CDs and movies for $1 and children’s and young adult books and small paperbacks two for $1. Any specials for this sale will be posted on the Friends Facebook page before the sale starts.

Anyone unable to visit the sale on any of these days or times may shop from the ongoing sales in the Seymour Library Book Nook or sales carts at the Crothersville and Medora libraries during regular hours.

Anyone interested in becoming a Friend of the Library or renewing their 2024 annual membership will find the forms at the sale, at the checkout desks or at myjclibrary.org/friends. Annual dues in each calendar year are $5 for individuals, $10 for family, $25 for donor, and $50 for benefactor.

Donations for the sales are accepted during regular library hours. Monetary or item donations without membership or purchases are also welcomed.
