Seymour

The Owls faced off with Columbus East on Tuesday evening, defeating the Olympians in straight sets, 25-15, 25-16, and 25-14.

Anna Fish led the team in kills with 19, followed by Emerson Johnson who had 13, helping the team improve to 4-0 on the 2024 season.

The Seymour JV team won their match 26-22, 22-25, 17-15 to improve to 3-1 on the season. The freshman won their match 25-20, and 25-14.

Seymour will host Bloomington North tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.

The Cougars defeated Columbus North in four sets on Tuesday evening, improving to 4-3 on the season. Trinity won the first two sets, 25-19 and 25-18. The Bull Dogs won the third set 25-19, before the Cougars won the fourth set 25-16.

Carson Bowling recorded 13 kills to lead the team, followed by Bailey Bonde who had seven. Trinity travels to Franklin Community tomorrow for a match at 7 p.m.

The Owls faced off with Columbus North on the links Tuesday, falling by 18 strokes to the Bull Dogs. Seymour recorded a score of 195 behind a 44 from Shana Spray.

Katie Cottrill followed with a 48, while Caroline Dennis scored a 49. Emily Windley ended the round with a 54 for the Owls.

Erin Hopkins earned medalist honors for North with the low round of 35.
