COLUMBUS — The Columbus City Band has begun its 2024-2025 season and are looking for former and current band members to join in making music. Columbus City Band is an all-volunteer organization made up of musicians who may have played in high school, college or are still playing now.

Rehearsals are from 7 to 9 p.m. on Mondays in the band room at Central Middle School, 725 7th St., Columbus. The band members enter the building at the entrance on the Chestnut Street.

The Columbus City Band performs four indoor concerts throughout their season as well as several outdoor venues.

The first rehearsal will be at 7 p.m. Sept 9. at Central Middle School. There are no try-outs — just bring your instrument and sit with the band to see if it works.
