As a fun way of raising funds to support its Adult Guardianship programs, Thrive Alliance is hosting a Cornhole Tourney starting at 10 a.m. Sept 28 at The Brick, 309 Walnut St., Jonesville

Cost is $40 per two-person team, limited to 32 total teams. First-, second- and third-place prizes will be awarded with $100, $75 and $50 gift certificates respectively. The tourney will be single elimination.

The Thrive Alliance Adult Guardianship Program recruits, trains and supervises specially trained community volunteers to provide support and advocacy to those who are unable to care for themselves. This program is part of a statewide network, Volunteer Advocates for Seniors and Incapacitated Adults. The program enhances the quality of life of those it serves by making decisions on their behalf that reflect their own life choices and preferences.
