Kathryn Ann (Morgan) Carava, 78, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at home with her loving family and canine family members by her side. ‘Kathy’ was born in 1946 in Terre Haute, Indiana to the late Frederick E. Morgan and Charlotte (Voelker) Morgan. She married the love of her life, Nicholas S. Carava III on July 17, 1971.

She attended Otter Creek Elementary School, Watervliet High School, Lake Michigan College and Western Michigan University.

Kathy is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 53 years, Nick and her brothers Frank Clayton Morgan and Frederick E. Morgan Jr. She is survived by her loving family Kim Swider (Dee) and Shannon Covey (George), her many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, God children and chosen family and friends.

Her passion in life was her family, friends and Paw Paw Lake in Southwest, Michigan. Kathy loved all the laughs and good food with the Berrien County Gourmet Girls as well as the support and friendships from the Seymour Grief Share group. The love she had for her many four-legged family members was also something very special.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Voss &Sons Funeral and Cremation Service, 316 North Chestnut St. Seymour, IN 47274. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
