Joshua Michael Schepman, age 45, a native and resident of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 while working in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was born on November 30, 1978 to Michael H. Schepman (Darlene) of Brownstown, Indiana and Marta (Henderson) Corcoran of Seymour, Indiana. Joshua attended Redeemer Lutheran Church and was the owner of Schepman Painting. He enjoyed fishing, painting and loved his dog “Deebo”. Everyone that knew him loved him and he would help anyone that needed him. He was a very hard worker and only knew one speed, go…go…go.

He is survived by his parents, one son, Avery Schepman of Destin, Florida. One daughter, Katelyn Schepman of Destin Florida. one sister, Stacie Schepman of Seymour, Indiana, Two brothers, Eric Schepman of Columbus, Indiana and Alex Schepman (Annaka) of Brownstown, Indiana and and two step brothers, Ryan Corcoran (Becky) of Lafayette, Louisiana and Nicholas Corcoran of Pennsylvania. One step sister Katie Corcoran of Pennsylvania. Paternal grandparents, Willard and Gertrude Schepman of Seymour, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his step father, Patrick Corcoran and maternal grandparents, Marvin and Ethel Henderson.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Christensen Family Funeral Home – Seymour Chapel with funeral services beginning at 7:00 PM with Pastor Andrew Currao officiating.

The family requests that memorials be directed to a fund that will be set up for the education of his children.
