City board of works to meet Thursday

The Seymour Board of Public Works and Safety is scheduled to meet at 11 a.m. tomorrow in the George Green Council Chambers at city hall, 301 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

New items on the agenda include special requests for use of the the Walnut St. parking lot (the site of the Farmers Market) by Auntie Anne’s, Chick-fil-A and The Rolling Pig Pin. Also, organizers of the Mystic Moon Market have requested a street closure at 2nd St. and Chestnut to the railroad, trash cans and an Oktoberfest stage.

Other new items on the agenda include a rules and regulations update by Fire Chief Eric Roll, updates from City Engineer Bernie Hauersperger and requests for sewer bill adjustments.

Board meetings are open to the public and press.
