The Jackson County Courthouse is located at 111 S. Main St., Brownstown.

The Jackson County treasurer office will be closed Aug. 2 for the Watermelon Festival — Rock the Rind.

The office, located in the Jackson County Courthouse at 111 S. Main St., Brownstown, also will close at noon Aug. 6 and be closed Aug. 7 and 8 for the annual state-called Indiana County Treasurers’ Association Conference in Evansville. The office will reopen at 8 a.m. Aug. 9.
