The Brownstown Public Library is at 120 E. Spring St., Brownstown.

Tammeron Jonesfrancis from ClayWood Art Pottery will be leading a five-session workshop on basic hand-building pottery techniques. The final workshop will be a potluck meal using the created pottery.

The class is free and limited to 10 adults aged 60 and over.

This activity is made possible in part by the Indiana Arts Commission, which receives support from the state of Indiana, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administrations Division of Aging.

The class will be held at the Brownstown Public Library from 2 to 4 p.m. Aug. 3, 10, 17, 24 and Sept. 15. For information, call the library at 812-358-2853.
