Neva J. Langley, 89, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Saturday, June 29, 2024, in her Seymour home.

Neva was born January 17, 1935, to the late Charles and Avis (Anderson) Tidd. Neva graduated from Shields High School (Seymour) in 1953. Neva was employed at Amoco/Silgan Plastics from January 1973 till April 2019, where she worked as a Lead Inspector.

Left behind to cherish Neva’s memory are her three children; Larry D Langley, Lisa Campbell, both of Seymour, and Robert (Cathy) Langley, of Elizabethtown; Her grandchildren, Robby (Jamie) Langley, Ryan (Emily) Langley, of Columbus, Josh (Tiffany) Baker, of Crown Point, Johnathan (Devona) Box, of Madison, Jeremy Box and Dale Box, of Seymour; Her great grandchildren, Bryson, Tanner, Reagan, Noah, Sheyanne, Travis, Brandy, and Zack; and Her sisters, Dixie Maschino, Linda (Jim) Heyne, Deanna (Donny) Kieser, and Shirley Montgomery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Avis Tidd; her daughter, Denise Box; sisters, Betsy Winebrenner and Veronica Miller; and her brothers, Herman Tidd, Wilford Tidd, Arnold Tidd, Harry Tidd, Winfred Tidd, and Ronald Tidd.

Cremation services have been entrusted to Voss and Sons Funeral Home, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour. A memorial service for Neva will be held at the funeral home Friday, July 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Robert Langley will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Neva will be laid to rest in Riverview Cemetery in a private ceremony at a later date.

Memorial contributions in Neva’s honor may be made out to The Alzheimers Association.
