The 50th reunion of the Brownstown Central High School Class of 1974 is set for Sept. 27-28.

Activities will begin with a golf outing at Hickory Hills Golf Club in Brownstown at noon Sept. 27. Those interested in playing should contact Brad Lahrman at 317-446-1754 or Mike Spurgeon at 812-525-2894.

The class will have a tailgate party starting at 5 p.m. Sept. 27 at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church shelter house to watch the Brownstown Central-Seymour football game. Those attending should bring a chair, their own drinks and a snack to share.

The class also will be given a tour of Brownstown Central High School starting at 3 p.m. Sept. 28.

The activities will conclude that evening at W.R. Ewing banquet hall in Brownstown. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with dinner to be served and special recognitions announced starting at 6 p.m. Everyone can enjoy music from the 70s until 11 p.m.

Invitations have been sent, but any class member who did not receive one should contact Debbie Covert Shippee at 812-521-2188. Classmates and their spouses or guests are invited to attend all of the activities. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by July 31.
