INDIANAPOLIS

Kevin E. Woodward, age 63, of Indianapolis, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at I.U. Health, Indianapolis.

Mr. Woodward had a strong faith, and he loved reading the Bible.

Kevin did flooring installations for more than 40 years. He raced super mod race cars for five years, enjoyed camping and fishing, and he had a love for painting.

Born on August 3, 1960, in Los Angeles, California, Kevin was the son of Thomas Gerad and Thelma (Hoscheit) Woodward. His father and stepfather preceded him in death and his mother survives in Kentucky.

Survivors also include four daughters: Sarah Woodward of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Mary (Larry) Hamilton of Mobile, Alabama, Priscilla Woodward of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and Rebecca Woodward of North Platte, Nebraska; and six grandchildren: C.J. Walker, Rylee Walker, Cade Walker, Patrick Challender, Dede Johnson, and Glenn Hack.

Kevin was also preceded in death by three brothers: James Woodward, Jeffrey Woodward, and Wayne Woodward.

Funeral services for Kevin E. Woodward will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc., Brownstown, with Pastor Floyd Fisher officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Inc.

Interment will follow at Kurtz Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
