Nightly lane closures planned on I-65 in Clark and Scott counties

Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving Inc. plans to reduce northbound and southbound Interstate 65 to one lane beginning on or after Saturday, May 18, to begin overnight paving and patching operations in Scott and Clark counties.

Work will take place between Scottsburg (Exit 29) and Memphis (Exit 16) and is expected to be complete by late August, weather permitting. Crews plan to work from approximately 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, weather permitting.

This project is part of a $2.9 million contract awarded to E&B Paving in April 2024. INDOT reminds motorists to slow down, use caution and drive distraction-free in and near work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
