The Brownstown Town Council plans to hold an executive session at 5 p.m. Wednesday at town hall to discuss the candidates for the town’s appointment to the Brownstown Central Community School Corp.’s board of trustees.

The term of Scott Shade who presently holds that seat, but that his term expires June 30 and he plans to step down.

Executive sessions are closed to the public and press.

Council members plan to take a vote on Shade’s replacement during their department head meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at town hall. That meeting is open to the public and press.
