The Southern Indiana 4×4 Club will host a Backroad Poker Run on May 18 starting at Shields Park in Seymour.

Registration is from 9-10 a.m. with the poker run beginning at 10 a.m.

Entry fee for the vehicle and driver is $30 which includes a poker hand. Extra poker hands can be purchased for $10.

Also, 50/50 raffle tickets will be available for purchase at registration and at the destination.

The poker score card is turned in by each individual, and the best hand wins. The first card each individual draws will be at the park. The second, third and fourth card will be drawn during the cruise at selected stopping points. The final card will be drawn at the ending destination.

The event will be about 70 miles round trip and will last between four to five hours.

After the run, a meal of hamburgers, hot dogs and chips will be served and is included in the initial cost.

There will be prizes awarded for first-, second- and third-place.

Everyone is invited to join the club on a scenic tour of the back roads in southern Indiana where we know where you’re going and you will have to find the way.

Proceeds from the event are donated to several in need organizations at Christmas.
