Libraries closed on April 8

Due to the solar eclipse, the Jackson County Public Library will close the Seymour and Crothersville libraries on Monday. The Discovery Bus will also be off the road that day.

Brownstown Public Library also plans to be closed that day.

Wi-Fi will be available in the parking lots 24/7 during the weekend before the eclipse and Monday in Crothersville, Medora and Seymour.

Library cardholders are encouraged to use the library’s Libby e-book, e-audio, and e-magazine collection at idl.overdrive.com, Hoopla at hoopladigital.com/home, kanopy at myjclibrary.kanopy.com and TheShelfTV at theshelf.tv/landing, since they are available 24/7.

The Seymour and Medora libraries and the Discovery Bus will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday and Crothersville will reopen with regular hours April 10.
