City BZA meets Tuesday

The Seymour Board of Zoning Appeals will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the council chambers at city hall, 301-309 N. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The agenda includes Arthur Properties requesting a variance at 222 Marley Lane to put a “solar powered” sign up in a residential area. They are also varying from the allowed 100 square feet size to be at 1440 square feet. ADI, Inc. is requesting a variance at the 11000 block of North U.S. 50 to not put required sidewalks in at their truck wash/repair business due to safety issues. The Hancock Building LLC is requesting a variance at 207 N. Chestnut St. for a sign to be four feet instead of three feet and put it on the side of the building.
