Project requests and volunteer registration open for Day of Caring

Project requests and volunteer registration is now open for Jackson County United Way’s 28th Day of Caring, which will take place May 7.

Projects are completed for residents of all ages and nonprofit organizations. Examples of past projects include landscaping, painting and cleaning as well as other ideas.

In 2023, 68 projects across Jackson County were completed with more than 700 volunteers, and the organization hopes to increase those numbers this year.

Interested volunteers can sign up individually or with a group. For groups, each person in a group should fill out a registration form.

Forms can be filled out online at jacsy.org/dayofcaring.

Jackson County United Way will be in touch to coordinate volunteers, projects and project sites by the end of April.
