Jones & Anderson CPA Group has announced the addition of Jerry J. Johnson Jr. to its office located at 2675 Fox Pointe Drive, Suite C, Columbus.
Johnson is a certified public accountant and a certified global management accountant and has worked in both the public and private sectors of accounting since 1988. His background is primarily tax and accounting in the areas of transportation, manufacturing, retail, restaurant and rentals.
He provides services that include tax preparation, planning and consulting for corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies and individuals. He has extensive experience in multi-state tax issues.
Johnson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Indiana CPA Society and has served on numerous boards during his career, including the supervisory committee of Centra Credit Union and the Indiana Motor Truck Association and was past treasurer and board member of Anchor House Family Assistance Center and Pantry.
He also is a graduate of Leadership Jackson County and earned his degree in accounting from Ball State University.
