A free Easter egg hunt is planned for 10 a.m. March 23 in the back parking lot at Trinity United Methodist Church, 333 S. Chestnut St., Seymour.

The hunt, open to children up to the age of 12, will start with the youngest age group and progress from there.

The congregation also invites the public to attend its Journey to the Cross, a Bible-times Easter event for families, from 4 to 6 p.m. March 24.

Attendees will taste, see and smell what life was like when Jesus was born. There will be stations and activities for all ages.
