The Jackson County Public Library is hosting Family Heirloom Show & Tell for adults at 5 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.
People ages 18 and up with an interesting or cherished heirloom are invited to bring their heirloom to discuss with others. Items may include jewelry, letters, photographs, art, quilts or more.
Registration is required by going to myjclibrary.org/events or by visiting or calling the Seymour Library at 812-523-4636 by Feb. 16.
The library has free local history information, including county yearbooks, online at jacksoncountyhistory.org and has Ancestry and Heritage Quest Online databases available in the Seymour, Crothersville and Medora libraries (Ancestry) and in the libraries or remotely (Heritage Quest Online).
