Register online at iyi.org to reserve a spot for the free training and lunch. The event is limited to 35 participants.

QPR is a two-hour educational program designed to teach anyone the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to respond. The process follows three steps: Question the person’s desire or intent regarding suicide, persuade the person to seek and accept help and refer the person to appropriate resources.

The learning objectives are to identify warning signs of suicide, demonstrate verbal and nonverbal skills used to persuade any person who is having thoughts of suicide to seek and accept help and locate local resources available to help someone who is having thoughts of suicide.
