Seymour Main Street will be accepting grant applications for downtown projects starting Thursday.

The list of grant programing available includes the Facade, Awning and Signage Program, the Building Renovation/Business Build Out Program, the Roof Stabilization Assistance Program, the Upper Story Residential Grant Program, the Rental Purchase Assistance Program, the Down Payment Assistance Program and the Loan and Grant Program.

This year, $130,000 in funding will be available. Applications received from Thursday through March 31 will be reviewed for consideration during April. Grant award announcements will be made May 15.

Part of the application process will involve a site visit to the applicant’s project location. Funded projects will need to be completed within six months of approval. Seymour Main Street has an ongoing application process, but review dates are subject to fluctuation.
